Ave 33 Farm spent many years as a seed - simply an idea- before it sprouted and grew into what it is today. Founded by Ali & Eric, they always knew they wanted to run an urban farm. A space for people to learn, grow, and be in community. They spent many years searching for the right place and in 2018 they found their home in Lincoln Heights. And when we say home, we mean it. Ave 33 Farm sits on the hillside behind their home.

Having found the space, the real work began. Taking inspiration from historical hillside farmers, they built a system of multistrata agroforestry — also known as a food forest — a mix of trees and perennial shrubs to stabilize the hillside.

But from its inception, they knew they didn’t want this place to be about them. Instead, about the people that breathe life into it. Ave 33 Farm no longer has a single story line. Now, it is made of the stories of all that have spent time on the farm, eaten our produce, been inspired by what we do, and now you!

Thank you for taking the time to follow your curiosity and learn about who we are.
